Made from locally sourced Irish Sycamore and turned on my footpowered Lathe. These bowl sets are inspired by the forms of ceramic Spongeware shown in "Irish Country Furniture and Furnishings 1700 - 2000" by Claudia Kinmonth

Each of these bowl sets was carved out of the previous bigger bowl. The waste left becoming the next smaller bowl. Leading to the matching grain pattern in both pieces in the set.
